CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

We strongly suggest purchasing travel insurance. The $500 deposit is non-refundable. Cancel at least 90 days before the trip and full refund minus the deposit. Cancel within 90 days of the trip and you will not be eligible for a refund or credit. Your reservation is not transferable.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ROOMMATE CANCELS

If the roommate you selected cancels, your rate will adjust to the revised (single person)rate or you can replace them. Any cancellations within 60 days of the event are your responsibility, however, we will try our hardest to help you replace them. If Travel Beyond Words matched you with a roommate, and that roommate cancels, we would try to replace the individual, or we would take responsibility for the cost (your cost will NOT change.)

IS A VISA REQUIRED

US residents are not required to have a VISA to enter South Africa.

IS THE FLIGHT INCLUDED

Airfare is not included. You will be solely responsible to obtain your flight to and from Johannesburg. If you miss your flight, flight change or cancellation, it is your responsibility to reach out to the hotel directly and Beyond Words Travel to let us know your flight status or if you are still arriving. All deposits and payments are non-refundable due to hotel and transportation contractual agreements. Travel Insurance is highly recommended.
